Why it’s news
This is the second prepaid phone plan Verizon has released in two months. In September the company launched Total. That service plan is available in multiple retailers including Walmart, Target, and Dollar General.
The deal between the companies aims to provide users with a cost effective way to have a reliable phone plan.
“This new service will help more consumers bridge the divide to the digital world by making high-speed broadband more affordable and attainable for those that need reliable internet, but prefer no contracts, no credit checks and a broader choice in payment options—including cash,” Verizon reports in a press release.
