Position Overview
Leaders Media is seeking a world class digital marketer with expertise in sales copywriting to design and build the sales funnels for our online course platform that will host hundreds of our original masterclasses. These classes feature world leaders teaching business principles and strategies and are designed to be both entertaining yet useful and practical. The individual in this role must have in-depth digital marketing knowledge including lead magnets, sales funnels, email and SMS strategy. The Leaders team is growing rapidly and this role requires someone who thrives working with other high level A-team players in a fast paced environment, while maintaining the highest level of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside CMO in building out the digital marketing strategy and map out the plan of how to achieve desired objectives and goals
- Write content for all sales pages, squeeze pages and sales emails
- Work effectively with our ads team to test and adjust sales funnels
- Research best-in-class digital marketing practices and make strategic adjustments
- Edit copy from contributing writers to ensure consistency and quality of brand voice in order to represent Leaders accurately
- Maintain a calendar of project deadlines and product launch dates
- Create concise and attention grabbing headlines and subject lines
- Ensure consistency of brand voice across all content
- Maximize revenue and ROI through analytics and reporting
- Remain consistent in all marketing of Leaders’ core values and vision
Experience & Requirements
- High level of buy-in to the Leaders’ vision and values: servant leadership, purpose-driven business, excellence in everything and commitment to constant growth
- 5 years minimum experience with digital marketing and sales copywriting – digital course experience required
- Knowledge of best digital marketing practices including but not limited to: Email drip campaigns, prospecting, lead magnets, paid search, keyword research, retargeting
- Strong understanding of leadership development courses, programs and personalities
- Proficient in the use of copywriting software packages, including but not limited to: Google Optimize, Jarvis, Active Campaign
- Creative problem solver, an effective communicator, a strong collaborator, resourceful, decisive and reliable
- Comfort with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
- Able to recognize and present an unbiased viewpoint
- Ability to identify key priorities and execute on them
- Communicate and work cross-functionally with several departments
- Superior analytical, presentation and communication skills – written and verbal
- Holds a slightly conservative world-view with the ability to recognize and present an unbiased viewpoint
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, English, Journalism or a related field
